U-Talking Video Intercom

The current PoC (PTT Over Cellular) intercom technology is developing rapidly. Following the introduction of the commercial 4G LTE network over the past two or three years, due to its convenient access without distance limitations and a wider coverage at low cost, the development landscape of PoC has undergone tremendous changes, as it is extensively adopted in the work management of enterprises, public institutions, and organizations, as well as command and dispatch centers.

Based on the development trend of technology and industry applications, Urovo Tech has timely launched the U-Talking intercom based on PoC technology. In terms of video intercom, U-Talking is currently the only tool that can realize the real-time video-audio intercom in the same group.

Compared with WeChat, U-Talking permits calls by pressing the key on a black screen and quick calls by pressing the reply key. U-Talking allows any user to automatically join the corresponding group, provides a smart address book, and supports backend management and data recording (audio/video recording). Furthermore, the enterprise is provided with the management function for decentralized viewing.

Supporting 4G/3G/2G full mobile communication standards for China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom, U-Talking provides various services, such as single call, group call, team call, short messaging, and positioning. Wi-Fi intercom can be achieved in indoor blind spots, with a seamless switch among 4G, 3G, 2G, and Wi-Fi networks.

On the terminal screen, you can observe the call status of members in the group in real time.

Convenient hierarchical management can be achieved for corporations/companies and groups/users. Besides the establishment and deletion of company-level platforms, it can set up and delete predefined groups, assign terminal users, and manage user authority.

GPS track playback

The dispatch console can track movements of the designated terminal using GPS.

Its large group user capacity supports more users and groups. Professional intercom call priority management will ensure that emergency instructions are prioritized for preset users, groups, or business types.


Visualized dispatching

Dispatchers can quickly set up dynamic groups using various forms, such as map frame selection and group tree selection, enabling flexibility of command and dispatch. In addition, any group or team under management can be monitored or recorded in real time, as the case may be.


Operating procedures

Registration

When launching U-Talking for the first time, the enterprise user may enter the “Company Registration” interface by clicking “Register Now”. After creating the customized company name and user name (optional), the enterprise user will be automatically assigned by the system an enterprise group number with a prompt message suggesting a valid trial of three months. The assigned enterprise group number can be used as the enterprise management account to log on the platform, and the default password is 111111.

For a company that has been registered, any non-registered user of the company applies to join the company group, the company administrator is required to review in the “Me” menu on the mobile app before approving the application.

Group and individual calls

The number of intercom users determines a group call or an individual call. During a group call, all online users in the channel can hear the intercom content at the same time. A group call also supports a multi-party video conference. During an individual call, a user may select the called party through the address book. When the call ends, there will be a call record, which enables quick access to the intercom party.



Real-time intercom and continuous call

In the intercom interface, a user can make an intercom call by pressing the PTT button or virtual button, which allows multiple recipients to hear this user talk. The continuous call mode can be activated, allowing a continuous call for multiple recipients without waiting for the intercom call. Even when the screen is locked, a user can initiate an intercom call to the default group by the PTT button (i.e., pressing the targeted group can default a group for the intercom call button).

Real-time video intercom

In the intercom interface, a user may enter the video intercom by clicking the video button. On the camera side, the user can switch the front and rear cameras and check whether it is muted. On the viewing side, the system supports arbitrary switching and viewing of multiple channels, as well as video minimization and dragging around the video screen.


Sharing real-time positioning

In the group call interface, any user can click the personnel location button to enter personnel location sharing and can view details of location addresses, as well as the latitude and longitude coordinates of each intercom ID in real time.


Channel management

Channel management can mute groups and individuals by setting the “Do Not Disturb” button.
